I really should change the main page to reflect that we are in a research stage and are not actively pursuing growing and manufacturing anything other than Timothy Hay and other feeds for Lisa's sheep.

Chicken Tractor made out of 1/2" emt

New Chicken Tractor.

Meat birds, Cornish X Cross; heat in the floor, clear cover. Dimensions are 6'x20'. Constructed of 1/2" EMT, 21 sticks, bent the ribs with an emt bender, cut and welded the x bracing.

GSHP

Summer of 2012, the two wells for a pump and dump ground source heat pump (GSHP) went in. Got the piping in with a lot of insulation over the pipes to protect from freezing in our cold Alaska weather.

We are making plans for next summer: New greenhouse. Clearing woods with new Cat 320 with Logrite wood processor head. Heat Greenhouse with low grade hot water geothermal heat pump. biomass Heating system. Solar Panels - 25 KW.
